Jake Simson is a Partner at RA Capital Management where he has worked on both public and private investments in life sciences companies and served in roles with increasing responsibility at the firm since 2013. In addition to Septerna, Dr. Simson currently serves on the boards of Janux Therapeutics, Tyra Biosciences, Bicara Therapeutics, as well as numerous privately held biotechnology companies.
Dr. Simson holds a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
